Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Litigation Attorney:
- Represent injured clients and their families in personal injury, automobile accident, and related plaintiff-side matters throughout Texas.
- Independently manage cases through all stages of litigation, from initial case evaluation and investigation through settlement, trial, and resolution.
- Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions practice, expert development, settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration, trial preparation, and trial.
- Serve as first chair at trial, taking ownership of trial strategy and execution, including witness preparation, opening and closing arguments, direct and cross-examination, and presentation of evidence.
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies designed to maximize client recovery while providing exceptional client communication and advocacy.
- Maintain and manage a substantial caseload while meeting deadlines, maintaining strong organization, and exercising sound legal judgment.
- Collaborate with clients, paralegals, experts, medical professionals, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals to effectively advance cases.
- Evaluate liability, damages, settlement value, and litigation risk throughout the life of each case.
Qualifications Summary for the Personal Injury Litigation Attorney:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
- Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas and authorized to practice law in Texas.
- 3–5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably with a plaintiff-side practice.
- Proven ability to independently manage personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
- First-chair trial experience strongly preferred, with the ability to independently lead cases through trial and serve as lead courtroom counsel.
- Demonstrated experience with discovery, depositions, motions practice, expert witnesses, settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Strong courtroom presence, litigation strategy, legal writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly polished legal writing, proofreading, and editing abilities.
- Proven ability to manage a substantial caseload, prioritize competing deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, experts, and other professionals.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, discretion, and sound legal judgment.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
