Pediatric Occupational Therapy Opportunities

Responsibilities
Depending on your assignment, you may:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations and/or direct treatment services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory, functional, and developmental needs
- Support activities of daily living and functional independence
- Collaborate with families, teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document client/student progress
- Complete evaluations, progress reports, session notes, and required documentation
- Participate in meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Maintain compliance with NYS, program, and agency requirements
Qualifications
Occupational Therapists (OT)/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) :
- Current New York State Occupational Therapy License
- Current New York State COTA certification/license
- Pediatric experience preferred for EI, CPSE, CSE, and DOE assignments
- Adult care or rehabilitation experience preferred for adult assignments
- New graduates are encouraged to apply where applicable
Candidates must meet the credentialing requirements for their specific assignment.
