Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction
- Support excavation, concrete pouring, framing, finishing, ensuring smooth application and quality results
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while following proper safety protocols
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute construction plans
- Assist with masonry, stucco application, roofing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), and restoration projects as needed
- Support heavy equipment operation and commercial driving tasks when qualified and trained
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all construction workplace safety regulations
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as excavation, framing, finishwork, or concrete work is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Experience in construction industry enhances your candidacy
