The Assembler I will produce high-quality constructed metal or soft products per customer specifications. The material and product to be constructed will vary by department.

Read and interpret job cards for information specifications.

Operate and/or utilize equipment to produce products that meets the dimensions required for the accuracy of parts and product quality.
- Assemble, troubleshoot, and test product.
- Multitask to perform other duties assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor.

Work in a safe and courteous manner.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to assemble custom products.

Assemble components using a variety of materials, machinery, and hand tools as needed.

Follow established procedures to ensure product quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Conduct visual inspections and quality checks during the assembly process to identify and address any defects or discrepancies.

Report any issues or deviations from specifications per protocol.

Collaborate with Team Lead, Supervisors, and other department management and team members to understand customer requirements and provide feedback on product assembly.

Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Maintain and clean tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

Support production by performing work in any/all areas within the department to ensure the team meets/exceeds the department’s metrics for SAFETY, QUALITY, DELIVERY, COST, and INVENTORY.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to read a ruler and tape measure.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
