Day Program Staff
My Life Services, Inc. is hiring full-time Day Program Staff to join our team supporting adults with developmental disabilities throughout North Orange County (Anaheim, Garden Grove, Orange, Buena Park, etc.). This role is ideal for someone who is patient, confident, and skilled in providing structured support while helping participants build independence, emotional regulation, and life skills in real-world environments. At this time, we have an immediate need for male staff to support specific participant assignments.

What You’ll Do
As Day Program Staff, you’ll:
- Lead and assist with recreational and educational activities(art, fitness, workshops, group outings).
- Assist individuals who may require behavioral support, emotional regulation strategies, and consistent supervision in community settings
- Facilitate community integrationby accompanying participants to local destinations such as parks, stores, and volunteer sites.
- Support vocational trainingand skill-building for participants working toward employment or volunteer goals.
- Promote social interaction and communication skillsthrough group activities and peer engagement.
- Provide transportation and supervisionduring community activities (must have reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance).
- Maintain accurate daily documentationand reports.
Qualifications
- Experience:Prior experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Experience in caregiving, education, recreation, customer service, or human services is a plus
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in human services, psychology, or related fields is a plus.
- Skills:Compassion, patience, teamwork, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Requirements: Female staff requiredfor participant-specific support needs, 18+, able to pass a background check, and have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
Schedule
- Hours:32.5 hours/week
- Monday–Friday, daytime hours(occasional community events or outings as scheduled)
