We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer with specialty in Heat Treat processes to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting heat treatment processes for production. This position requires a strong understanding of metallurgical principles and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Develop, implement, and optimize heat treat processes for various materials and components.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to heat treat methods (e.g., carburizing, nitriding, induction hardening).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Quality, and Production to ensure process reliability and product quality.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal specifications for heat treated products.

Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Analyze metallurgical properties and conduct failure investigations as needed.

Develop and maintain documentation, including process instructions, control plans, and training materials.

Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades.

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically involving heat treat processes.

Proficiency in heat treat technologies and metallurgical principles.

Experience with process optimization and quality assurance.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Master’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.

Experience with advanced heat treat methods (e.g., vacuum heat treating, induction hardening).

Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis tools.

Experience in aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing industries.
