Charleston Surgical Hospital is seeking fulltime candidates for the Housekeeping department. Primarily Monday through Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM. Prior hospital experience preferred. Good communication skills. EOE
Position Description
Minimum Education: Should be a high school graduate or possess a GED or equivalent.
Minimum Experience: Basic cleaning knowledge.
Personal Factors: Must be able to read and write with a reasonable degree of accuracy in order to interpret specific instructions. Should be able to work without direct supervision.
Physical Demands: Should be able to run floor cleaning machinery and move furniture as necessary.
Dress Code: Clean and neat uniforms.
Hours of Work: Primarily Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
1. Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, performance improvement program, OSHA standards, infection control, patient safety standards, infectious medical waste and takes a proactive approach to error reduction.
2. Shall follow cleaning schedule as outlined in the Housekeeping Policy and Procedures Manual.
3. Will perform other related duties as assigned.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
