Your Responsibilities
- Performs necessary cutting insert rotations or changes
- Performs heat shrink tool setting of solid carbide tools
- Sets length and diameter offsets for cutting tools using pre-setter
- Promptly enters tooling data into Tool Tracking System
- Assists in maintaining cutting tool RFID chips and evaluate further implementation of this technology
- Troubleshoots cutting tool issues in collaboration with operators, team leads, and shift leads
- Precision & Accuracy: The ability to perform precision measurements and ensure tools are functioning correctly
- Machining Skills: Knowledge of machining processes for repairing and fabricating tools
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on tasks to ensure high-quality work and tool functionality
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3-5 years of combined experience in: machining, cutting tools, tool setting, high volume manufacturing environment
- Familiar with MS Office applications
- Demonstrates problem solving skills and analysis
- Quality oriented & conscious
- Reliable with excellent attendance record

Schedule – Approximately 40-45 hours per week, core hours 3rd Shift 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
