Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality child care programs aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum plans that promote developmental milestones and educational excellence across all age groups.
- Manage the center’s budget, oversee financial planning, and ensure fiscal responsibility while maintaining program quality.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand services, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen community relationships.
- Supervise staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and personnel management to foster a motivated and professional team.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal licensing laws related to child care centers and special education law where applicable.
- Oversee fundraising efforts and community outreach activities to support program growth and sustainability.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive environment by implementing policies on health, safety, legal compliance, and classroom management.
- Conduct faculty evaluations and instructional leadership activities to uphold educational standards across the center.
- Serve as the primary liaison with families, providing excellent customer service through effective communication and public speaking.
Skills
- Extensive experience in education administration with a focus on early childhood or PreK-12 school settings.
- Proven expertise in curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs and developmental stages.
- Strong management skills with experience supervising staff and managing budgets as an executive education administrator.
- Knowledge of school legal requirements, special education law, and classroom instruction best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking, staff development, and parent relations.
- Ability to lead personnel management efforts including faculty evaluation and instructional leadership in education environments.
- Working knowledge of managing large centers’ operations including compliance monitoring and safety protocols.
