Here's a summary of responsibilities:
The Product Manager, Fan Data Products will define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution priorities for Team USA and LA28’s fan data ecosystem.
This role will translate business objectives across fan engagement, marketing, commercialization, insights/analytics, fundraising, and digital experience into scalable product capabilities across identity, preference management, audience activation, fan intelligence, commercialization, and partner data enablement.
The ideal candidate combines strategic product thinking with strong technical fluency in customer data platforms, marketing technology, and data-driven product development.

Product Strategy & Vision

Define and evolve the product strategy for the fan data platform in alignment with organizational goals through the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Develop multi-year product roadmaps for fan data capabilities including:

Identity resolution
-
Preference center evolution
-
Audience activation
-
Consent and governance
-
Fan intelligence products
-
Data sharing and clean room capabilities
-
Identify opportunities to create new fan-facing and internal data products
Product Discovery & Prioritization
-
Partner with stakeholders across Team USA, LA28, Foundation, and Commercial within marketing, digital, ticketing, partnerships, content, and technology to identify needs and opportunities

Translate business requirements into clear product requirements and prioritized backlogs
-
Lead discovery efforts to validate product opportunities through data, research, and experimentation

Evaluate tradeoffs across impact, effort, risk, and strategic alignment
Cross-Functional Product Leadership

Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
-
Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
-
Ensure product decisions balance fan experience, technical feasibility, privacy, and scalability

Drive alignment on priorities across competing business needs
Measurement & Optimization
-
Define KPIs and success metrics for fan data products
-
Monitor product performance and adoption
-
Use data-driven insights to inform roadmap evolution
-
Champion experimentation and continuous optimization
Vendor & Platform Ownership
-
Help evaluate and optimize core platform investments across the fan data ecosystem, activation, identity, execution and data-sharing tools

Partner with platform owners and engineering to ensure products are scalable and future-proof
-
Identify opportunities to reduce operational friction through product improvements
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

Bachelor’s degree with a preferred emphasis in Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications or Economics or equivalent work experience

7+ years of product management experience

Experience building data products, martech products, or customer data platforms

Strong understanding of:

Experience managing product roadmaps and backlogs

Here's some more information you need to know:

Hiring pay range $100,000 - $112,000 per year.

This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week.

Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion.
