Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team in Frederick, MD. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, managing bookkeeping tasks, and supporting administrative functions, including scheduling crews within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop, and a solid understanding of financial concepts. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial records
- Must utilize Quickbooks accounting software
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation
- Support administrative functions as needed, including scheduling crews, maintaining accurate scheduling forecasts, and maintaining material inventory
Qualifications
- Proficiency using Quickbooks Desktop accounting software is a MUST
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as journal entries, account analysis, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
- Familiarity with scheduling multiple crews
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
