Taking on this elementary caseload means you’ll enhance your skill set, collaborate with experienced professionals across disciplines, and gain exposure to evolving approaches in school-based speech therapy—including teletherapy (VOCO) options. For Clinical Fellows, this role provides exposure to innovative practices, while SLPs-CCCs will find new ways to stretch their expertise. Not open to SLPAs, this position focuses on experienced clinicians ready to lead and learn.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; experienced Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience in pediatric/school-based environments
- Familiarity with teletherapy/VOCO platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work full-time (35 hours/week) with an elementary caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat elementary-aged students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized IEPs
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide both onsite therapy and participate in VOCO/teletherapy sessions as needed
