The Position: We’re looking for per diem caregivers.
Pay starts at $18.65 per hour, plus opportunities for additional pay differentials.
The Organization: Camphill Ghent, Inc. located in Chatham, NY opened in 2012 and provides independent and assistant living residence to 70 residents in an elder community setting.

Requirements:
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred, but we will accept CNA/PCA applicants as well as anyone interested in working in the health care field.
- Prior experience working with elders is preferred.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and to spend long periods of time walking/standing.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be in compliance with NYS Dept. of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers
- Must be able to work at least 2 shifts per month, with 1 shift being on a weekend.
Responsibilities include assisting with:
- Personal care and administering medications
- Social and recreational activities
- Helping to serve meals, setting dining tables, and cleaning the dining room
- Maintaining a clean, comfortable and safe environment
