Experienced Orthodontic Assistant – Westchester County (Multiple Locations)

Dentistry For Children is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team across our Westchester locations, including Peekskill, Mt. Kisco, Tuckahoe, and Yonkers.
We are looking for a motivated, reliable professional who is willing to travel between locations and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Current Scheduling Needs:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Orthodontist chairside during procedures
- Take digital x-rays, impressions (scans), and clinical photographs
- Pour models and fabricate Essix appliances
- Place arch wires, ligature ties, bands, and brackets
- Set up and break down treatment rooms
- Perform instrument sterilization in compliance with protocols
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Required Skills & Abilities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Basic computer literacy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in—or willingness to learn—dental practice management software
- Working knowledge of dental terminology
- Experience with Wave Ortho preferred
