Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team in a fast-paced quick service fast food environment. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cash handling, and being part of a dynamic team that thrives on building relationships with our customers.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner (Serve customers with a smile and a genuine conversation)
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Cleaning the store until it shines (because anything less doesn’t change the world!)

Skills
- Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively upsell menu items.
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and understanding retail math for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
- Experience: cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- License/Certification: (preferred) NYC food protection certificate
