Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant breakfast experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized breakfast area. Two Days a week.
Your day to day:
- Shift begins at 5:00 am daily typically ends around 12pm
- Weekend availability and Holidays
- Greet and welcome all guests in a prompt and professional manner
- Cook and prepare food & beverages for the hotel's complimentary guest breakfast
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of guests
- Follow all Hotel Brand standards and operating procedure
- Monitor food levels and replenish as needed to ensure a continuous supply for guests
- Clear tables and clean up spills promptly to maintain a clean dining environment
- Clean all dishes, garbage, etc after breakfast hours are done and prep for the next day
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and answering any questions they may have
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
- Work as a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service
- Set Up Food & beverages as needed for In House meetings
- 17 years or older
What we need from you:
- Strong – sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling
- Literate – you’ll need a good grasp of speaking, reading and writing English
- Compliant – as well as meeting local laws on food handling, you’ll be required to have or obtain a FOOD SERVICE SANITATION MANAGER CERTIFICATION
- Articulate – a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
