JOB
City of Woodburn is looking for a Wastewater Operator II to perform journey level, skilled and semi-skilled, work in the operation and maintenance of the City's wastewater treatment plant, poplar tree facilities and reuse systems. The position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, sample collection and process testing, gathering and interpreting data, operate and assist in maintaining the City pump stations, conveyance systems, water reuse and bio-solids handling equipment, perform grounds landscaping, building maintenance, and facility housekeeping duties.

High School degree or G.E.D with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related operation and maintenance of a Wastewater Treatment facility or a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities and to be able to obtain the certification per DEQ.

Valid Oregon class C driver's license

Possess the following training/certifications or ability to obtain and maintain after employment: Forklift, first aid/CPR
