B.E.S.T. Speech and Language Therapy LLC is an expanding private practice setting that offers therapeutic services in the clinic, virtually, and in the client's homes. All individualized programs are overseen by the Speech and Language Director. We offer therapy to address developmental speech and language delays, speech and language deficits that co-occur with an array of diagnoses, oral motor/feeding challenges, motor speech deficits, orofacial myofunctional disorders, social cognition development, social language development, and acquisition of language via AAC all within a framework of building independence through problem-solving, life-skills, and flexible thinking. Our overall goal is to maximize each individual's quality of life and strive for increased independence.
We are looking for a hard working and reliable individual who is passionate within this field of work. The ideal candidate will have the desire to learn and to implement the clinic's overall framework and methodology. This job will entail working under the guidance of a speech pathologist/clinical director and collaborating with others in the office.
Setting: A growing private practice setting providing clinic-based and home-based intervention.
Location: Ridgefield, CT with potential to travel to client's homes. Office location will be moving to Wilton, CT within the next 6mo.
Clientele: Toddler-Young Adults. Presenting concerns of children and families will vary with significant opportunities to work with children on the Autism Spectrum, children with childhood apraxia of speech, children with feeding disorders, and children with orofacial myofunctional disorders.
Hours: Variable with opportunity for daytime, afternoon, and evening hours. Schedules are based on preference and client availability.
Supervision: Ongoing close supervision provided by the speech pathologist/clinical director and a Dr. of Speech Pathology. This is a great opportunity to learn a functional multifaceted approach to working in the pediatric population.

Qualifications
-Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
-Must have a CT state license to practice
-Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) * however a strong CF will be considered.
-Must have good communication and collaboration skills
-Experience in oral motor/ myofunctional therapy/feeding would be ideal, but is not mandated.
