This position provides technical support to the retail store locations, corporate offices, and sister companies. We are seeking a IT Field Support technician I whom will provide support to the IT related systems which includes but is not limited to hardware, software, telephony, IT services, and network. The primary focus will be to our retail store locations and the support to the Point of Sale (POS) system. We have stores located all throughout Texas and one in Oklahoma City. The job will include travel to the store locations on a regular basis.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Calibrate POS scanner/scales and meat scales
· Install and troubleshoot wi-fi and LAN networks for different locations
· Install, repair, replace, configure, and support different types of hardware and software
· Interact with 3rd party IT service providers to request service and follow up to resolve issues.
· Perform tasks as required by supervisor
· Resolve issues in person, over the phone, or remotely
· Track issues and resolutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Able to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently (bi-lingual – English/Spanish)
· Able to work with minimal supervision
· Able to follow instructions
· Able to work well under pressure
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs
· Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
· Experience with Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems
· Flexible schedule working weekends, holidays, and different shifts.
· Highly motivated, responsible, and strong work ethic
· Knowledgeable on the function and repair of PCs and peripherals
· Possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
· Willing to travel
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· AAS degree in Information Technology, Electronics Technology or similar preferable
· From 1 to 3 years of experience working with computer systems on a multiple-location retail environment
