The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time between 6:00am and 7:00am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $20-$25/hr DOE/DOQ.

Braun Northwest is looking for the right candidate to fill our open Parts Room Associate position. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking and staging parts used in the production of emergency response vehicles and for maintaining clean and orderly parts rooms, shelves and storage areas.
Responsibilities
- Use a computer for Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.
- Safely and competently operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift to move material, load and unload trucks.
- Examine incoming shipments for damaged or missing items and follow processes to resolve issues.
- Verify incoming shipments against packing slips, bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders or other records.
- Count, weigh and measure incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Sort, label, mark parts received, put parts in designated zones, deliver parts to production as required.
- Process FedEx and UPS shipments.
- Re-stock parts room and production areas on a regular basis.
- Obtain counts for weekly inventory orders for production areas.
- Follow Bill of Materials (BOM) to pick and stage designated parts for each build.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies of parts to be picked.
- Document and investigate Broken in Production (BIP), missing and Extra parts for in-production and completed builds, communicate information to buyers.
- Maintain clean and orderly parts storage and in-production parts storage areas.
- Return unused parts to stockroom, clean carts and bins, and prepare cart for next build.
- Participate in quarterly cycle counts and weekly inventory audits.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
Education:
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Position Requirements:
- Use a computer for Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.
- Use a hand truck and pallet jack for moving bulky or heavy items.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and physically lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Physically able to be on feet and moving throughout the day.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Materials and tools used in this position include: Box knife to open boxes of stocked parts, Keyboard and computer to process BOM’s and maintain inventory control and Operation of forklift.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of Inventory Management principles, Microsoft Excel, shipping and receiving, cycle counting and Supply Chain Management.
- Good communications skills, written and oral.
- Self-directed, independent judgment with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Required Experience:
- Forklift Operator (1 year preferred with forklift certification desirable) and/or shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience using computers and keyboarding functions to include Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs.
