STAFFMAX Healthcare is looking for an experienced LPN/LVN for a high-demand outpatient Cardiology assignment supporting cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients in a fast-paced clinic setting. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong clinic experience and a cardiovascular surgery background looking for a stable weekday contract with guaranteed hours.
Compensation Package
- $2,090.27 Weekly Gross
- $52.26 Hourly Equivalent
- $17.35 Taxed Hourly Rate
- $1,396.27 Weekly Stipends
Schedule
- 8 Hour Day Shifts
- 40 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
- No weekends
- No call
- 13-Week Contract
Assignment Highlights
- Outpatient Cardiology Clinic setting
- Up to 22 patients per day
- Outreach coverage for HVI providers as needed
- Strong interdisciplinary support team
- EPIC charting system utilized throughout clinic
- Free parking available
Responsibilities
- Support providers in a busy outpatient cardiology and vascular surgery clinic
- Assist with patient rooming, intake, assessments, and clinical workflows
- Coordinate care for cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular surgery patients
- Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and documentation
- Collaborate with EKG techs, clinical assistants, lead RNs, and providers
- Float within the Cardiology clinic as needed
Requirements
- Active LPN License
- Active BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year clinic experience required
- Cardiovascular Surgery experience REQUIRED
- EPIC experience REQUIRED
- Clinic experience REQUIRED
- First-time travelers accepted with clinic experience
- Travelers must live more than 100 miles from facility
Additional Information
- Orientation includes facility onboarding plus 3–4 days side-by-side on unit
- Holiday rotation required (2 of 4 holidays)
- Day after Thanksgiving considered a holiday
- Navy Blue scrubs required
- Contract extensions required for any full week of approved time off
