Looking for a skilled professional who has expertise managing customer product needs, designing product solutions, and preparing samples for the business unit customer base. This individual will need a high degree of technical expertise and a scope of experience that includes all phases of product design and manufacturing with an exceptional communication/collaboration style and a get-it-done demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain relationships at assigned accounts and cultivate long term relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Field customer inquiries, document and log requests.
- Interface with customers in the development of products to meet the specifications established by the customer, including formal reviews.
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations.
- Process customer orders, to include preparation/writing of technical specs, routings and Bill of Materials.
- Hands-on sample generation, material sourcing—prepare and ship samples to customers.
- Follow-up on sample requests and quotations.
- Engage in other activities, as needed, to fully satisfy the customer needs.
- Expedience and responsiveness is a must.

Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree in Engineering discipline or 3 to 5 years Design and/or Manufacturing Experience a plus
- Word and Excel Proficient
- Experience working in a cross functional environment, including sales manager, business development manager, or manufacturer’s representative
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
