Columbus Area Speech Therapy is seeking experienced, part-time CCC-SLPs who love working with children and their caregivers. The main duty is 1:1 therapy. Some clients may need an evaluation, but many come with that already completed. Our flexible opportunities are perfect for a busy mom who needs to work around your family’s schedule or an SLP with another job who wants extra income around those hours. Minimum of 5 visits per week (in-person visits are 30, 45 or 60 minutes).
We do not take Medicaid or any insurance, so we are not bogged down by their requirements, such as extensive paperwork & detailed billing. Client needs are primarily articulation/phonological and expressive language delay for late talkers. We mainly work with private pay and homeschool families. These populations highly value our work and seek our services to help their children. They are very invested in being involved in their children's progress. They look to us to guide them in supporting their child, and they put in the effort needed to develop skills.
Clients are seen in their homes, daycares, and private schools (no ETRs or IEPs!). A hybrid option may be available in incorporate virtual sessions. Currently, we have clients on our waitlist in Pickerington, Gahanna, New Albany, London and Delaware.
You pick where you go, which clients to work with, your hours, and the number of visits you want per week with additional pay when driving to individual clients, up to $78/session plus mileage reimbursement.
A caseload of in-person clients can be combined a school contract if more hours are desired. Part- & full-time school contracts for in-person & virtual services are available ($55/hr. for direct & indirect services).
