Internal Service Advisor
Location: Taverna Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram – Plantation, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Taverna CDJR is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Internal Service Advisor to join our fast-paced service department. This role is focused on handling internal repair orders for vehicles in our sales and inventory departments, ensuring repairs are documented, tracked, and completed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Write and manage internal repair orders for dealership inventory and sold vehicles
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize internal work and ensure timely completion
- Communicate with sales managers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and approvals
- Accurately document parts and labor for each repair order
- Ensure all repair orders are closed in a timely manner and billed correctly
- Maintain communication with parts department to order and track required parts
- Help maintain internal workflow and service department efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a service advisor or in a dealership service department required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair process
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS is a plus
- Clear and professional communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
