Gold Cabinets & Countertops is a locally owned remodeling showroom in Front Royal specializing in kitchen and bathroom design, with capability for full home remodels. We carry five different cabinetry lines, man-made and natural stone countertops, tile, flooring, cabinet hardware, and plumbing fixtures for a true one-stop shop experience.
About the Role
We're looking for an organized, personable individual to support our interior designer and keep the showroom running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for a student, retiree, or anyone seeking flexible, part-time work in a friendly, design-focused environment. There's room to grow as our business grows.
What You'll Do
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the showroom
- Schedule and manage design appointments for our interior designer
- Maintain and update spreadsheets (client info, orders, tracking)
- Handle follow-up email communication with clients
- Submit and track building permits
- Keep the sample library organized and up to date
- Maintain and coordinate delivery schedules
- Support general office tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Comfortable with basic office software (spreadsheets, email)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Reliable and punctual — available Saturdays plus 1 or 2 weekdays
- No remodeling/design experience required — we'll train you on the industry side
