Duties for this position include:
- Load and unload materials for production processes and ensure materials are properly organized and ready for processing
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently while monitoring equipment performance and adjusting settings as needed
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve issues related to machinery or process deviations
- Identify potential problems early and escalate concerns to minimize downtime
- Complete and maintain required documentation to ensure compliance and quality standards
- Utilize the JD Edwards system to track materials, production status, inventory, and work processes
- Monitor and maintain consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Inspect and repair parts in the sort area as required\
Compensation (USD):
$21.00/hour
Schedule:
1st Shift
Monday – Friday
6:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
2nd Shift
Monday - Friday
2:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
