Gather Natural Market in Atascadero is seeking an experienced produce clerk passionate about vibrant produce, supporting local food supply chains and serving the community, to assist in managing our produce department.
What we are looking for:
-Energy! Enjoy being physically active and participate in a variety of job duties from receiving trucks, breaking down pallets, stocking, culling and building full, fresh produce displays.
-Must be very familiar with the stages of healthy produce and quickly and easily cull displays to offer the best selection to our customers.
- Must be willing to take responsibility for produce department operations when the produce manager is not on site and follow all store procedures.
- Must have at least two years of management experience and at least three years experience working with produce in a retail or farm setting.
- Be dependable, flexible and enjoy working with others.
- Excellent communication skills and desire to collaborate.
- Enjoy providing excellent customer service.
This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Full Time schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 7am-4pm, 40 hours a week.
