Position Summary (Candidate Facing)
CherryRoad is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – ERP Delivery to join our Consulting Delivery Organization. In this role, you will lead large-scale ERP implementation and cloud transformation projects within Public Sector K-12 environments, managing projects from initiation through successful deployment.
You will work closely with clients, project teams, and leadership to drive delivery success, manage project risks, and maintain strong customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned project management professional with deep ERP consulting experience and a passion for leading complex transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end, full lifecycle ERP and cloud implementation projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Monitor project performance and maintain operational and financial metrics, including project profitability.
- Support delivery governance and ensure adherence to organizational project management methodologies and operational policies.
Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including onsite, remote, and offshore resources.
- Assign resources, delegate tasks, and monitor project team performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project team members and junior project managers.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts within the delivery organization.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and referenceability.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and milestones to clients, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Advise project teams and leadership on tactical solutions to address project barriers and delivery challenges.
Risk, Issue & Financial Management
- Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risks, issues, and action items.
- Support project forecasting, budgeting, and financial tracking activities.
- Ensure projects align with approved Statements of Work and contractual obligations.
Sales & Proposal Support
- Support sales and pre-sales activities, including proposal development, solution planning, and pricing support.
- Participate in client presentations and project planning discussions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 10+ years of end-to-end project management experience .
- Minimum 5 years of ERP consulting experience .
- Demonstrated experience serving as the lead or sole Project Manager for large-scale ERP implementations.
- Public Sector and K-12 project experience required.
- Experience managing cloud transformation or ERP delivery projects preferred.
- PMP Certification required.
- Experience managing onsite, remote, and offshore project teams.
- Ability to travel as required based on client and project needs.

Work Environment & Expectations
Work may be performed in an office environment, hybrid setting, or fully remote depending on project requirements and business needs. Travel may be required based on client engagements. Extended hours may occasionally be necessary during critical project phases or implementation milestones.
