Duties
- Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders with order fulfillment systems, and ensuring proper packaging according to safety standards
- Handle materials with care during stocking, order picking, packing, and heavy lifting tasks to prevent damage and maintain safety compliance under OSHA guidelines
- Operate mechanical tools and equipment with mechanical knowledge to support manufacturing or construction-related tasks when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse work and heavy equipment operation
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks efficiently
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail for order picking & packing accuracy and inventory control tasks
