Entry Level ASSEMBLER I (Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

Function and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Assembler I prepares and builds production sub-assemblies and final assemblies in accordance with specified manufacturing instructions, ensuring full conformance to specifications.
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Duties:
- Perform skilled assembly work to integrate components with assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Position and align parts in a specified relationship to each other, using hands and/or tweezers, into fixtures or other holding devices
- Perform any combination of repetitive tasks at assembly stations to mass-produce small products
- Able to work cohesively with other people.
- May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shifted from one station to another
- Perform assembly operations according to documented manufacturing procedures
- Meet basic quality expectations
- Handle very small parts and assemblies
- Work under supervision; guidance and instruction is provided on all work
- Maintain a clean, orderly and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- 1 to 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Other Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read and understand basic English and arithmetic
- Vision requirements include: close, distant, color and depth perception, and peripheral
- Noise conditions are moderate

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
