Designer / CNC Operator – Luxury Custom Van Builder

We’re looking for a Designer / CNC Operator to join our team — someone who can bring custom cabinetry designs to life through both digital modeling and CNC machining, and who also has a desire to get involved in the build process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom cabinetry, and interior components for luxury van builds.
- Create and prepare CAD/CAM files for CNC machining.
- Operate and maintain a gantry-style CNC machine to cut wood, composite, and specialty materials.
- Work closely with our clients and builders to ensure designs are optimized for fit, finish, and production efficiency.
- Participate in the build and assembly process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with CNC operation and setup (preferably on gantry-style machines).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, or similar).
- Ideally possess an understanding of woodworking, joinery, and material selection.
- Ability to translate concepts into detailed cut-ready files.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for precision craftsmanship.
- Preferred prior manufacturing experience ideally in the overland space
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-end build environments.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, nesting, and toolpath optimization.
- Hands-on experience in fabrication and assembly.
