Top Flight Termite Control is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, currently licensed California Branch 2 Pest Control Technician to join our team in San Diego County.
A CURRENT CALIFORNIA BRANCH 2 FIELD REPRESENTATIVE LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
This position will be primarily focused on general pest control, including recurring residential pest services, initial treatments, inspections, and customer care.
We're looking for someone dependable, knowledgeable, professional with customers, and excited about the opportunity to grow with a locally owned company.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential general pest control services
- Complete initial and recurring pest control treatments
- Inspect properties for pest activity and conducive conditions
- Identify common household pests and recommend appropriate treatment and prevention options
- Apply pest control products safely and according to label directions and California requirements
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, treatments, and prevention
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Manage an assigned daily route efficiently
- Maintain company equipment, materials, and work vehicle
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
Rodent Exclusion Experience Is a Plus
We're especially interested in candidates who have experience with rodent control and exclusion, including:
- Identifying rodent activity and potential entry points
- Sealing gaps, holes, vents, and other access points
- Installing exclusion materials
- Setting and monitoring traps
- Performing follow-up rodent services
- Recommending preventative measures to customers
Rodent exclusion experience is highly desirable but not required.
Requirements
- MUST hold a current California Branch 2 Field Representative license
- Previous general pest control experience
- Knowledge of common Southern California pests and treatment methods
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
