Psychosocial Aide Position:
Provide group psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults. Participates with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services
Responsibilities:
Provide socialization/stimulation to residents in the facility
Assist with crisis intervention as needed
Address residents' concerns and goals while maintaining constant communication with the residents as well as their social worker
Monitor or assist during smoking times
Assist during facility mealtimes
Assit with resident's mail delivery
Assist with resident inspection upond entry
Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
CNA certification preferred.
Must have basic computer skills
Must have patience and able to manage stress
Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
High level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
