Job Type: Direct Hire (Permanent – Day One)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience on lathes and/or milling machines.
The ideal candidate will set up and operate small to mid-size CNC machines, working on precision parts under 6” in diameter, while adhering to tight tolerances and reading blueprints accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate small to mid-size CNC lathes, including 3–4 axis machines (Okuma, Mitsubishi, Nakamura)
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines
- Select cutting tools and determine appropriate speeds and feeds for each job
- Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts to specification
- Ensure precision and accuracy for tight tolerance parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC lathe and/or milling experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of speeds, feeds, and tooling for precision machining
Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Opportunity for overtime
Pay:
Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
