About the Role
INTECON is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Staff Action Support Services contract. The Senior Project Analyst provides senior-level staff action, tasker management, and business process support to the NGB Executive Secretariat or the Air National Guard Executive Secretariat and Staff Action Control Office (SACO). The successful candidate will manage executive correspondence and taskers across the NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks, advise Workflow Managers and Action Officers on staffing processes and system improvements, and provide timely and continuing guidance to Government leaders and offices in accordance with the Chief of the National Guard Bureau staffing processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Receive, control, prioritize, edit, and manage all tasks entering the directorate through ETS, CATMS, JSAP, ETMS2, and the DoD Directives Portal
- Enter taskers from the DoD, HQ DAF, HQDA, ARNG, ANG, Joint Staff, and NGB; determine the proper Office of Primary Responsibility, staffing requirements, level of approval, and suspense dates in accordance with the CNGB staffing processes and procedures instruction and manual
- Manage actions that indicate Top Secret submission through the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) and SIPRNET classified tasks
- Monitor directorate task queues; analyze tasker data and provide monthly analysis reports to the COR
- Provide procedural guidance to NGB personnel and guidance to Workflow Managers on tasking system improvements and business processes
- Instruct and assist in the Action Officer Training Course for newly hired employees
- Provide verbal and written status updates concerning assigned tasks to government leads
- Maintain continuity standards, business practice guides, and the electronic library of best practices and lessons learned
- Attend staff action meetings and brief task status as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Fully trained and qualified to perform all assigned duties at the start of performance; the Government does not provide training to contractor personnel
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of information processed through the NGB ExecSec Directorate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interfacing with senior military and civilian officials and the protocol involved
- Educational background in Business/Public Administration, Business Management, Public Policy, Economics, or Marketing
- Capability to analyze complex technical issues and present them in clear and concise language
- Demonstrated knowledge of functions and missions of the National Guard and its role and organizational relationships within the DoD
