Job Overview
As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the various aspects of client cases, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to achieve successful outcomes.
Availability Required
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather relevant information.
- Gather investigative reports, property damage photos, experience in requesting and reviewing medical records and bills, etc.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize project management skills to track case progress and deadlines.
- Proofread legal documents and correspondence for accuracy.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, attorneys, and other parties.
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information accurately.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff as needed.
- Conduct legal research on various topics including patent law, workers compensation law, and other relevant areas.
Skills
- 2 years of experience handling personal injury claims.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demand-writing experience (preferred), with the ability to prepare clear, persuasive demand packages.
- Negotiation skills (preferred), particularly when communicating with insurance adjusters and other parties.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research and analyzing complex information.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Abilitity to speak other languages (preferred): Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish.
