1.0 JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for leading the Inventory Control, Logistics and Material Handling functions. This position ensures accurate inventory transactions, ERP integrity, material flow, shipping and receiving operations, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company procedures while supporting Production, Commercial, Finance and Quality.
2.0 COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but Associate’s Degree permitted along with 1-2 years experience in inventory control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Detailed understanding of ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, logistics and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
3.0 JOB DUTIES
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, ISO requirements and audit standards.
- Lead, supervise and develop Inventory Control Clerks, Scale House Coordinator and Material Handlers.
- Assign daily work, balance workloads and ensure department coverage.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately and timely in D365.
- Maintain alignment between physical inventory and ERP inventory, including quantity, location, status and cost.
- Ensure accurate receiving, warehouse, WIP and finished goods inventory.
- Oversee shipping, receiving and logistics operations to support customer requirements.
- Ensure material is properly staged for all production processes.
- Ensure inventory locations remain accurate throughout the facility.
- Ensure material is shipped to maintain inventory flow and minimize aged inventory
- Plan and oversee cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Enter inventory adjustments, stock gains/losses and regrades.
- Maintain and enforce inventory procedures, work instructions and internal controls
- Train employees on ERP transactions, inventory processes and standard work.
- Ensure accurate customer inventory reports are maintained and distributed in a timely manner.
- Perform Weekly Audits and accurate detailed information – audits to include inspection of labels and safety concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- Perform other duties as assigned to include covering for the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain.

5.0 WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in an office within a manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration as it is necessary to walk the shop floor.
Certified in Fork Truck Operation.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. Hours of work may vary based on business needs.

Infrequent, however may need to visit other locations

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
