The Project Coordinator’s responsibilities include acquisition, assignment, training, and supervision of volunteers across the state. In coordination with Digital Projects Manager, assess technical needs to complete grant-related work. Report to and work closely with Digital Technology Consultant to make sure that the scope and direction of each aspect of the project is on schedule, as well as other involved parties for support. Understanding of technology requirements for successful completion of grant requirements.
Understanding of archival standards for successful completion of grant requirements, including digital imaging and photography mechanics and best practices. Collection of and ability to understand and use data and resource availability in order to best approach meeting grant requirements (surveys and data collection, coordination and discussions with county representatives, etc.). Overnight travel across the state for on-site visits/work as needed.
Ability to manage and assign/reassign resources on a county-by-county basis, based upon the unique needs of the location. In coordination with Digital Technology Consultant, Liaison to county officials and negotiate access to site locations. Responsibility for day-to-day work, reporting, documenting, budget, and deadlines in implementing grant requirements.
