Step into a hands-on leadership role at Five Guys. You will run daily shifts, train crew members, and execute food service operations. We rely on our Shift Managers to work directly on the line alongside the team while managing critical business tasks like cash control, inventory reporting, and basic human resources paperwork.
Requirements to Apply
- Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 1 to 2 years of restaurant or shift management experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible schedule availability
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, bend, and ascend/descend stairs on occasion
- Preferred:
- Valid driver's license
- Some college coursework
- Problem-solving skills to manage busy shifts
Your Daily Operations
- Direct the crew and organize workflow during daily restaurant shifts.
- Coach and train team members on proper food preparation and safety procedures.
- Screen applicants and manage essential new hire paperwork and employee separation reports.
- Track daily labor costs, monitor food waste, and manage accurate daily cash procedures.
- Process inventory data and report operational metrics to the General Manager.
- Handle customer requests directly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement store marketing tools and keep the dining and kitchen areas consistently clean.
Compensation & Perks
- $14.00 hourly base pay
- Up to $2.00 per hour in shared tips
- Up to $2.00 per hour in performance bonuses
- Maximum total earning potential of up to $18.00 per hour
