Pride health is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician – Loaner & Consignment Tray Coordinator to support overnight SPD operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing loaner and consignment trays, ensuring accurate processing, documentation, and timely availability for clinical use.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on Sterile Processing experience, strong organizational skills, and experience working with vendors, clinical teams, and SPD leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing loaner and consignment trays.
- Verify tray contents for accuracy, completeness, and integrity before and after sterilization.
- Coordinate with vendors, clinical partners, and internal SPD teams to ensure instruments arrive on time and are processed correctly.
- Track tray movement throughout the complete sterilization and return cycle.
- Ensure all trays are accounted for and ready when needed.
- Production & Workflow Oversight
- Coordinate daily production flow with SPD leadership.
- Prioritize and balance workloads to maximize efficiency.
- Identify delays, discrepancies, and workflow bottlenecks and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- Communicate with technicians and leadership regarding production goals and operational needs.
- Provide guidance or day-to-day oversight to Production Technicians as needed.
- Communication & Relationship Management
- Act as a liaison between vendors, clinical teams, and SPD staff.
- Maintain clear communication regarding tray status, delivery schedules, and special requests.
- Communicate with partner hospitals and surgery centers to ensure smooth coordination.
- Represent the organization professionally in all internal and external interactions.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on Sterile Processing experience.
- Strong experience with loaner and consignment tray management.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across departments, vendors, and leadership teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with instrument tracking software and reporting tools.
- Positive, proactive approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification-CRCST or CSPDT certification required.

- Schedule: 5x8
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
