Our company has a rich as a general contractor, with deep roots in Raleigh Durham Area.
With expansions into the Carolinas & new verticals, we are happy to say we haven't rested on our laurels. Mainly working on Healthcare, Education, Higher Education & other similar construction types, offering services such as preconstruction, design management, estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and project monitoring.
Because of this, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent or Senior Superintendent, who has a proven track record of Interior fits outs or ground up builds, on similar healthcare type projects.
You will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring quality execution, safety, and client satisfaction while maintaining alignment with project budgets and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Managing the schedule, materials, equipment, and labor needed for the project.
- Team Supervision: Directing and supervising workers, subcontractors, and site managers.
- Communication: Acting as the main point of contact between the construction team, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Ensuring work is done according to the project specifications and quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with healthcare, medical, clinical, OSHA and other regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing issues that arise on-site, such as delays, equipment failures, or unexpected challenges.
- Progress Reporting: Tracking project milestones and reporting progress to higher management or the client.
Qualifications
5+ years of recent experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent, with a General Contractor
Direct experience with healthcare type interior build outs or ground up projects is required
Strong understanding of any medical equipment coordination, MEP systems, and facility operations + client facing
Familiarity with AHCA, FGI Guidelines, ICRA, and other healthcare construction standards
Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills
