An electric utility client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be financial business partner to Customer Service and Operational Service Operational Units.
Position: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Rosemead, CA, 91770- Hybrid Onsite M & Tu
Pay Rate: $40/hr. on W2
Duration: 5 months or longer
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial business partner to Customer Service and Operational Service Operational Units.
- Activities may include monthly performance vs. plan analysis, financial modeling of new projects/hiring plans, supporting financial aspects of GRC testimony development, ad hoc data analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Financial analysis using tools such as excel and PowerBI as well as presentation to senior levels of management in PowerPoint slides.
- Ability to present financial information to management and non-financial audiences and previous experience presenting analysis in senior business settings, such as major accounting firms, fortune 500 companies or equivalent.
- BA in finance or business-related topic, or equivalent.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with regulated utility accounting and financial issues.
- Experience in business partnering roles providing financial guidance to business units and experience guiding business out comes with business partners.
