Job Summary
We are seeking a Cannabis Extraction Assistant to support our non-volatile extraction operations. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone with non-volatile extraction experience (ethanol, CO2, rosin, or similar) or a machining/mechanical background, comfortable working with precision equipment under strict procedural and safety controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Extraction Operations: Assist in performing non-volatile cannabis extraction processes under the direction of lead technicians
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all extraction equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the extraction process, including testing and documentation
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations; handle hazardous materials in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record and report extraction activities, including yields, solvent use, and any issues encountered
- Collaboration: Work closely with the extraction team to ensure efficient workflow and consistent production quality
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory of raw material and finished product; ensure proper storage and handling
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on extraction techniques and equipment; contribute ideas to process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Non-volatile extraction experience preferred, or a background in machining, mechanical assembly, or precision equipment operation
- Knowledge: Working understanding of extraction methods and safety protocols; willingness to learn cannabis regulatory and compliance requirements

- You have no chemical allergies** — production areas contain adhesives, solvents, and chemical processes
- You have no strong scent allergies — ingredients emit strong odors
- You can lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
- You can stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for the duration of your shift
- You will comply with cleanroom standards at all times: lab coat, hair net, closed-toe shoes, no dangling jewelry, no strong perfumes, no nail polish (or gloves over it)
- You have close vision and color vision — product inspection requires both
