Responsibilities
- Install new appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using ladder use, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems accurately
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operational checks on appliances to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing or electrical equipment safely and effectively during installations and repairs
- Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to facilitate precise installation and troubleshooting processes
- Communicate clearly with customers about the work being performed, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience with appliance repair, installation, or field service roles involving service technician responsibilities
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical work experience and familiarity with refrigeration systems
- Ability to read schematics and utilize ladder logic for troubleshooting complex equipment issues
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plumbing components, and electrical testing devices
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including equipment troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles or similar fleet vehicles safely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing connections, and basic HVAC principles is a plus
