Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development of young learners, implementing effective teaching strategies, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child in your care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration among children.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and promote respectful interactions among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create individualized learning plans for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Provide guidance and support for assistant teachers and volunteers within the classroom setting.
- Incorporate various teaching methodologies, including Montessori principles, to enhance learning experiences for toddlers.
Requirements
- MACTE or AMS, AMI accredited training is preferred.
- Proven experience in childcare or as a teacher in daycare settings, with knowledge of toddler care practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to apply math concepts in everyday learning activities.
- A passion for child welfare and commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Pay: $41,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
