Ambulatory Registered Nurse
Shift - Days (8:00am - 4:30pm)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Ambulatory Nurse to join our outpatient care team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients across a variety of outpatient settings, ensuring seamless patient experiences and optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations.
- Administer medications and injections with precision.
- Assist with minor procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and sterile dressing changes using aseptic techniques.
- Manage electronic health records accurately, ensuring all medical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate patient care activities including triage, discharge planning, and follow-up appointments to enhance continuity of care.
- Support diagnostic evaluations by collecting specimens, processing lab samples, and operating medical imaging equipment when applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for patients with complex needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of ambulatory/outpatient experience
- Current RN license in NY and BLS certification
