School Year Program - Must be available Monday through Friday from 3pm to 8pm.
Join our team as a Teen Room Supervisor (part-time), where you will lead engaging programs and activities for youth ages 13–17. Under the direction of the Teen Services Director, you will create a safe, supportive, and structured environment that encourages leadership, personal growth, academic success, and positive decision-making.
This position will focus on one of two specialty program areas:
- Sports & Esports Gaming
- Arts
The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development, enjoys building positive relationships with teens, and can create engaging experiences that connect member interests with leadership, teamwork, and life-skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate engaging programs and activities for youth ages 13–17
- Lead programming within an assigned focus area (Sports & Esports Gaming or Arts & Creative Expression)
- Build positive relationships with teens while serving as a mentor and role model
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-supervised program environment
- Encourage member participation, leadership, and personal growth
- Maintain attendance records, program documentation, and required reports
- Assist with special events, tournaments, workshops, and Club-wide activities
- Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding program needs, member concerns, and successes
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with youth preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to supervise and engage groups of teens in a positive manner
- Interest or experience in sports, esports gaming, visual arts, music, creative arts, or related fields preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
