The Tax Senior Manager will be a key contributor to all aspects of the tax life cycle – provision, compliance, forecasting, and planning. The ideal candidate will have significant technical expertise and strong analysis, leadership, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the global tax provision under ASC 740, including coordination and review of non-US data, FIN 48 analysis, tax account reconciliation and financial statement disclosures, documentation of tax positions, and working with external audit firm
- Manage US tax compliance process, including developing and managing compliance workplan and assignments and preparation of federal and state returns
- Assist with other tax matters including cash tax forecasting, estimated tax payments, due diligence, acquisition integration, research, and audit responses
- Partner with other departments as necessary to ensure accurate tax reporting of proposed and completed transactions
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the business and provide communications to stakeholders and updates to systems and processes as needed
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, workpapers, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA strongly preferred
- Eight plus years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments; manufacturing experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 including tax provision for a global enterprise
- Experience with OneSource Tax Compliance and Provision software
- Experience with various ERP systems a plus
- Can effectively perform as both a preparer and reviewer
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
