Service Delivery Manager 1
About the Role:
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-volume print, check, letter, and mail services. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing, printing, quality control, sorting, distribution, and reporting while maintaining strict security and operational standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing print/mail operations, leading teams, monitoring production and quality, and ensuring client requirements and service levels are consistently met.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily printing and processing of checks, letters, and related documents according to scheduled production requirements.
- Ensure all files in the print queue are processed, quality-checked, and distributed by the required deadline.
- Manage daily logs, production counts, distribution records, manifests, and tracking information.
- Oversee sorting and distribution of checks and letters according to required mail methods, including regular and special delivery.
- Ensure unknown, incorrect, or incomplete addresses are identified, documented, and escalated to the appropriate business owner.
- Manage multi-level quality control processes to verify printed counts, physical documents, signatures, trailer pages, and distribution records.
- Ensure deficiencies such as missing signatures or incorrect mailing information are properly documented, corrected, and reprinted when required.
- Oversee secure handling, storage, and destruction of checks, letters, blank forms, and other confidential documents.
- Monitor print equipment and coordinate service calls for hardware or operational issues; ensure incidents are properly logged and tracked.
- Ensure print queues are cleared, workstations are secured, and printers are properly shut down at the end of each business day.
- Maintain daily and weekly reporting for packages, tracking, certified mail, and fulfillment activities.
- Manage inventory levels for printer supplies and consumables and coordinate replenishment through approved vendors.
- Monitor postage and meter requirements and coordinate funding as needed.
- Lead, train, and manage operational staff to ensure productivity, accuracy, quality, security, and adherence to established procedures.
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve workflow, quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, client procedures, and applicable operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in print production, mail operations, document processing, fulfillment, or a related environment.
- Experience managing high-volume printing, sorting, mailing, distribution, or document processing operations.
- Experience leading and developing operational teams in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control, production tracking, inventory management, and mail distribution processes.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive documents with a high degree of accuracy and security.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and email platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting production deadlines and service requirements.
"The salary for this position starts at $60,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
