SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the collection and counting of large amounts of currency with strict adherence to established Sokaogon Gaming Commission Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and Sokaogon Gaming Enterprise Corporation (SGEC) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Employees of the Drop Team Department are responsible for maintaining all equipment, locks, and other Drop-orientated items. All Drop Team Members are expected to become proficient in all aspects of the drop; including computer entry, paperwork documentation, proper routing of paperwork, cleaning of currency counters, and any other duties to ensure the accurate and efficient completion of the drop.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Safeguarding of casino assets.
· Remove all currency from the gaming floor and transport to count room in full view of Security and Surveillance.
· Counts and verifies all currency from the daily drop in full view of Security and Surveillance.
· Secures all currency in the count room until soft count verification is completed.
· Review all Fill/Credit/Open and Close Slips prior to recording them on the Blackjack Win Sheet (Manual or Cash Pro).
· Maintain inventory levels; complete requisition forms to order needed supplies and submit to Drop Team Lead.
· Follow all SGC TICS and SOPs as outlined and never deviate from these procedures without proper consent.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.
UNIFORM:
· Casino issued 1-piece short sleeve, full-length cover-all. Must be zipped up to neck comfortably.
· Coverall shall have no pockets or pockets must be sewn shut.
· Coveralls will be shown to Security (checked and cleared)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· Two forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Must submit to and pass drug and alcohol test upon hire.
· Physically able to perform all aspects of the position.
· Be able to pass a Background Investigation.
· Successfully complete a 60-day probationary period.
· Must be able to interact well with the public and co-workers.
· Good math and counting skills.
· Computer learning ability.
· Ability to follow precise procedures.
· Take and pass a Title 31 compliance test within 30 days of hire.
· Must maintain a working phone number in case of emergency and have reliable transportation to and from work.
· Reliable transportation to and from work.
· Native American preference is granted according to P.L. 93-638.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
